I've got one to organise for my brother in a few months around the Leeds/York area. Any ideas? It can't be anything too active due to a few oldies coming along.

Just a little bit stuck on where to go. want to make the night as quality as possible, so suggestions would be great. Cheers.

i've been to York on a stag-do and a normal night out and IMO it's very quiet, deffo not Stag-do material. have you thought of Halifax? that's pretty good for that sort of thing and the "ladies" are mucky buggers over there!
 
have worked in york for few years would recommend for night out either york or wakefield, not leeds everything too spread out in leeds, indoor ski centre xscape at castleford thats not too far away or if u really want to do some thing not so active plenty of lap dance clubs in wakey/leeds ;-), if u want to know anything about leeds/york/wakey pm me as know area really well
 
Oz & James Beer train route is very good for 'oldies' ...

I used to live in Wakefield and the Latino Quater is good place to start out. It's a private owned street with a few bars on it, nice to get a beer and stand/sit outside if the weathers nice.

I've been out in York and Leeds, but they were both work do's so it's not really the same.

Are you mad? Leeds has got one of the best, if not the best clubbing scenes in the country!

My advice, get wrecked, ditch the oldies and head to a brass gaff.

I live in Leeds, and after numerous nights out i know the oldies won't like it. Night out surrounded by paranoid coke heads....not enjoyable. Plus i'm looking for something a bit different to be honest.
 
Latino Quarter of Wakefield?-pah! it's but a pale shadow of the Balinese arrondissement of Todmorden. Bring em ere lad-theres still tripe for sale on't market-that'll suit the old uns fine-slips down a treat without yer teeth in. Or so I'm told. Bottles of Mackeson in one or two of the flashier bars-jobs a good un.
 
Chester is a good afternoon on the lash,and not a bad night life either,bit of somert for everone,young and old !!!.

Went last year on a stag doo there,happy days straight off train and your bang in the centre,and plenty of clean cheap hotels too

DO NOT GO TO HALIFAX for a night out i lived just down the road its shit, their is only a couple of bars, would deffo give it a miss, leeds would be better i would have thought

it used to be good a few years back.............maybe a decade or two, then!!!!! :)
