Would that be the Stan Collymore who thought, early last season, that Karl Jenkinson was a good shout for England right back in the world cup?
Apart from all the serial faults referred to above, what a dickhead!

I think when Glenn Johnson is the first choice right back, it's not totally unreasonable to grasp any straw. Jenkinson did have a reasonable run of form at one point and play for England didn't he?

You use the term pundit loosely I assume. Collymore could have highlighted what is a serious issue eloquently and call for clubs to stamp out racism from BOTH teams in the old firm. But he didn't, instead he tweeted stuff a 12 year old would including quoting a republican song. There's having a reasonable opinion and there's just being a twat. It's a can of worms the whole old firm debate and it's ancient.

What happened earlier this week was scandelous, upsetting and tragic and racism needs to be fully stamped out. But still Collymore provokes the issue further for his own self promotion.

He will now probably have a melt down from the abuse he is receiving and will play the mental health card.

I don't go on twitter. Whenever I have heard him talk about racism, he's usually made reasonable points and sounds (not surprisingly) like it is an issue that is important to him. I don't claim that I know for sure whether anything he does or says is because it is genuinely what he believes or because he just wants to promote himself though. It's not like I love the guy or anything, just don't feel the hate.

Also had dig at Gazza calling him serial wife beater - but rich with his history

As far as I know Collymore only hit her the once whilst Gazza did every time he was pissed, so everyday.

I understand that bit but surely once is too much

Of course mate but once you can put down to depression, drink drugs, a stupid mistake etc.

Whilst regularly shows you have fundamental issues that need to be resolved.

Still doesn't put Collymoron in a position to be criticising others. Pot, kettle.

He only mentioned Gazza because the Rangers fans were calling him a woman beater, he then correctly points out that Gazza done the same whilst a Rangers player.

If he got called a robber beater he would have pointed out Big Duncan Ferguson done the same.

He's losing the plot there,on a mission against rangers fans, very dangerous territory for a broadcaster. He's brave enough but how many enemies does he want to make?

fair play to him for trying to lance this boil .. the Scottish media is complicit in sweeping these vile songs under the carpet
