If he won the case it wouldn't be the first time he had beaten a woman.

Don't think it's fair to keep on tagging him with this. He hit Ulrika, a horrible and coward thing to do. But ... He didn't seriously harm her, he admits to it, is ashamed of it and has taken serious abuse for it. He made a mistake.

For a guy that suffers from depression I think it's unfair that over a decade later from that incident people are still hurling abuse at him.

Mark, everyone gets a second chance in my book, but I feel that this post unwisely makes light of a serious crime. Battering someone you claim to love is an extreme abuse of trust, an extreme abuse of love and demonstrates the worst regard for mutual wellbeing. As a six foot-odd athlete against a physically weaker woman, it's just shithouse behaviour and worthy of state punishment.

I agree Jots, but it can also be said that however much of a gobshite he is, to my knowledge he hasn't reoffended. So you could say he has been successfully rehabilitated, and it is poor form to keep beating him with the same stick.

I still will though. The woman battering dogging twat.

An apologist for a woman beater,I always said 'Nil By Mouth' was not a work of fiction but a fly on the wall documentary about cockneys.

I quite like Collymore's analysis on Talksport.

Unfortunately he delivers it in such a monotone foghorn fashion I can't listen for long.

Far from an apologist ... Already stated what he did was horrible and a cowards thing to do, any bloke that hits a woman for whatever reason is a horrible c*nt in my eyes, but maybe I'm too soft ... When after a decade for something he is fully ashamed off I do believe people should move on and give someone a second chance. Keep bringing it up and mocking him forever helps no one, just makes Internet warriors feel better and every human makes a huge mistake in there life, many have that are slagging him off. Except the faceless internet brigade have the benefit of keeping there skeletons in the closet.

I can't stand the **** but he's not killed anyone I will just reserve my anger and tut tutting for murderers pedos and tax dodging corporate cronies.

There are other things more important than making Stan the tosspot Collymores life any worse than it already is.

Jesus Mark you're fighting a losing battle here, many people suffer from depression, not only Stan Collymore but they don't go around beating women. Sure you have said it was a horrible and cowardly thing to do but in my experience people like that never change second chances or not, fuck him, he's a horrible **** but you're entitled to you're opinion as am I.

I remember the Katie Hopkins bullshit about not allowing her kids to knock around with other kids she didn't deem worthy of their friendship.

Her kids are butt fuck ugly and two of them are boss eyed to fuck. With a mam as an idiot like her they'd be lucky to have any friends.
Did you really just slate two children for being butt ugly and boss eyed?
