Stand against prices

Boycott a game after paying over 70quid for a ticket !!! Lol
Yes I know it won’t happen due to the money already spent by fans,I was just highlighting that something drastic like this would perhaps be the only way clubs would have to react, the loss of match day income in food drink shop etc would hurt them.

Will every one on here be at the Cup game against Salford??

I do feel a lot of Blues have given the zclub’s admin an open goal to take the oiss on home tickets with the obsession on away tickets and ticket points. The Club didn’t need to divide and conquer. Fans did it for them.

Just a few suggestions:
Use the Face Value ticket pages and not the official ticket exchange. The latter reinforces overpricing fans for tickets.

Take advantage of Blues making cheap or free tickets available like against Forest.

I'm looking forward to this Salford game. Ticket prices will be reasonable. Singing Gary Neville is a wanker. I'm local so the ko time is OK.

Season card holders. Don’t miss your free tenner off a couple of pints

The publicity of a deserted stadium would hurt them a lot more, especially if it was a televised game.

Yes it would, think it’s the only way it could change things in the future but realistically I know 60 k loyal Blues aren’t going to all feel the same but solidarity can be quite powerful.

You just need to do it for first 10 mins of each game.

And most in the 'Kippax' won't even notice any difference to their usual routine, tbf.

Sad to see these comments on this forum. I can understand the frustration of many fans at ticket prices but as some have said it’s not just City but every club in the PL. I’m pretty sure if City’s pricing structure were compared against all other PL teams we wouldn’t be in the top 3. I’ve been attending for a long time and am satisfied with my ST price, admittedly a concession. If our fans decide to demonstrate I sincerely hope they make sure it’s not seen as an attack on our fantastic owners but PL prices in general. We all know what the media and opposition fans will make if it’s the former.

I agree with what you are saying, but fans shouldn’t be having to use third party websites to get affordable tickets. The club should just price tickets at a sensible level.

I’m going to bet most fans have no idea how to access these sites and some of them could be a scam as well.

After my experiences I do most of what you are saying Bridge Blues have a WhatsApp site which usually means you can shift your ticket or even get an extra one at face value or less
The real test though like Forest and most cup games at home is no fucker wants one can’t give them away midweek games are no good for sensible oarenting
Funny how media don’t pick up on this high values most of us have referencing why there are gaps in the “Family Stand” the fact we have a “Family Stand” and the gaps are a reflection of how we are predominantly a Mancunian family club.
My biggest fear is not the ignorance of our piss poor media but nowadays the attitude of the club itself

Well said mate. I also take your point that it can be hard trying to give away tickets for what many fans see as lower profile games like Forest. (It was a big match in my book).

It was bad weather for young families who go into North Stsnd L1. Overall I thought it was a good crowd for the Forest game with a decent atmosphere. The empty seat obsessive are a bit of an embarrassment.

I don't know where to start.
I don't do Facebook or any crap like that.
But I really feel we need to start a protest .
A coming together of all fans all clubs.
Enough is enough.
Real fans are been priced out of going to games.
It's having a negative effect on the atmosphere and the experience of going to games.
I've been priced out this season after 30 years .
I've given my ticket to mate for this season..next season I either move to the 3rd tier and don't sit with my dad.
Or I don't go again.if it carries on I will be out of the habit of going.
It's been my life since 1984.
Our owners have given me more than I ever dreamt possible but at a cost.
I don't feel like it's my club anymore and I want city and football back.
Let's get some demonstration going not against our owners but against where footballs going.
It belong to the fans.
The real fans not the ones with the half and half scarves and barca shirts at Anfield.
The real fans who will be there if we're shit again one day.
Grimsby away.
Macc away.
Laughing stock all over the country..but we stayed together.
It's time to come together no
Great post, I have never felt as disconnected from the club as I have in the last couple of weeks.

Loved City through all the shit days but the contempt for the fan base is proving challenging..

The publicity of a deserted stadium would hurt them a lot more, especially if it was a televised game.
The main problem is it’s taken for us to be a mediocre football team for people to want to protest. If we were winning every week there might be no interest in protests.

The media would latch onto that.

I’ve thought about giving my season ticket up.
I’ve seen it all now. It’s been a blast. Thank you Sheikh Mansour.(but now you want your money back, which is understandable)
But out of bedevilment, I won’t let the City turn my season ticket into a match day ticket, so they can sell my seat to a tourist, a day tripper or a football fan for double the price.
I’ll keep hold of my season ticket, and next season I’ll drop platinum, and all the cup schemes. I’m not arsed anymore about my loyalty points falling away.
The buzz of going to watch City at the Etihad has gone.
The Etihad is now a soulless, contrived, quiet, security driven, cheese fest, match day experience, driven by the club and it’s number one priority, revenue growth.
My revenue growth will be a season ticket, a pint, at that’s it.
Pretty well echoes my view currently. Except they can do whatever they want with my seat as it won't be my problem anymore.

If 2,000 gave up their season tickets, they'd not be bothered. If 10,000 gave up their season tickets they'd get a shock.
