Stand and Deliver

We've all had our say about Hughes, Mancini, Khaldoon, Cook, Marwood and Mansour. Whats happened has happened and we cant change a thing.
But this is now a serious junction that the club, staff, players and fans find themselves at.
I am asking the players to forget any personal gripes they may have or feel and give their all to what i have always thought is not just the greatest club in the world, but God's own club too.
Its time for us the fans to get behind everyone associated with the club and support each other as well as the team. We have an important 5 months coming up and i have a renewed enthusiasm and an even greater belief that we can now go on and win the league title after seeing all the weekends action.

Now is the time to stand and deliver for your club!

nice sentiment but the fact is at least half the team now are going to be either unhappy or seriously insecure about their role in the club until at least the end of January. Some may respond by playing great but others may not. In any case, I'd be surprised if we suddenly have an outbreak of consistency in the performances. It's hard to have great team spirit when everyone's looking over their shoulder. If Mancini can prevent that from happening in this case it would be pretty remarkable.

I do hope Toure, Barry, Given, SWP and one or two other of the senior players can meet among themselves and take a leadership role in holding the ship together during the next spell.
