I'm on City Voice, must be in relation to surveys or whatever.
At least they're not doing the music.

As does the person who told them it was a great idea.greasedupdeafguy said:There are definitely non-match going fans on there. And looking at some of the ideas there are quite a few people just taking the piss.
Just one of the bizarre ideas brought up on cityvoice, mind you after some of the recent introductions to the 'matchday experience' this season I wouldn't be surprised if the club did act upon this idea.
No one should have any input who isn't a regular match goer.
I agree, the best way to do that would be through supporter numbers and loyalty points.

And this is an odd thing because that positive effect does not carry over to the teams that these visitors follow.Blue Mooner said:I'm on City Voice over 10,000 points match going blue and I advocated some kind of stand leaders and drums. In the survey that we did we were looking for new ideas that might make a difference to the atmosphere at the stadium this season. All of the ideas that you voted on came from fans like you. Here are the results:
- Your favourite idea was the 'Bluemoon Black-out' - turning the lights out before kick-off. All things being equal, we now hope to bring this back at a match over the Christmas period.
- You also told us that we should work more closely with supporters groups. We currently meet with the 1894 group and will be continuing to do this.
- Other popular ideas included using the website and social media to share and create new songs. We are developing a new series for City TV involving players and fans to talk about their favourite songs.
- "Stand Leaders" was another idea - having one fan in each block to start the singing. There will be a meeting at the stadium this week to recruit fans and discuss this experiment.
- We definitely won't be playing music before or after goals, which is something that you all really disliked.

I'm on CityVoice as well. SC holder and on the surveys I've stated many times we need Safe Standing.
This will improve the atmosphere making it more organic rather than being scripted and pre-planned.
I can imagine it now, the stand leaders having to sing specific songs that have gone through the club first, with no swear words allowed blahdeblah.
I like the idea of a Capo but designated stand leaders being versed by the club and CRB checked, along with being racial diversity polls and all this PC shit just puts me off.

How to make the stadium complex an entire Manchester Experience. Local beers, Local food etc supplied by local businesses Concentrating on quality, price and overall value for money. Working towards sharing this "Manchester Experience" with visiting fans and creating our own uqique home culture. Given the amount of money the club spends on salaries, facilities etc do we really need to rip people off for the price of a pie and a pint? We have the space within our complex to create something that is very "Manchester" specific and could be very unique. We could even charge the "Corporate" income section more for sharing such a local approach!
Maybe when the dippers come we can have a bit of banter with it. We do Yaya and they do Kolo. Its in The Blood said:Great idea, mainly due to the fact when songs get going, other parts are out of time.
In Munich there were like 3 different sections so we were drowning ourselves out at times. It's like the YAya and Kolo song, ok KOlo gone but we still sing it. Well why not KIppax sing the YAya part and the south stand the Kolo part. Get a bit of competition going between the sections.

Any new news on this idea/proposal since the auditions?
