Standing is currently banned in the 'top two flights' of English football, but do these rules apply to cup games?

If not, could we have lock away chairs and increase capacity fit games like tomorrow which is sold out?

Not quite true. You can stand in the championship.

First - The cost would be prohibitive for most clubs

Second - Have you seen how 'safe standing' works? It's not what you'd expect...I don't think you'll like it!

Third - I don't think we could get it in place for tomorrow...

What is safe standing?

How would it increase the capacity when people would be stood where a seat would of been?

I think you can get more people in stood up. There's always 2 to a seat in most rows in block 117/110 anyway

sounds good... there will be prob 10k standing tomorrow anyway.

Hopefully we may get this sorted in the next season or two as city have backed it.
