This is a absolute joke, reading this guy's profile, he has all the caveats of a Bond Villain.
$20m for one game of 20/20 ... The ECB have sold the soul of Cricket to the highest bidder.

yeah but in fairness look at the publicity that the twenty20 series is getting because of it and if its anything thats going to push cricket into that high money tier for players it will be things like the stanford series and the Indian Premier league

I'm well into me cricket, been a member at Lancs for a few years and have to say I don't even like 20/20 much. It's just a dumbing down of a technically very difficult game in order to appeal to the masses who don't appreciate the finer workings of Cricket. I suppose if it gets kids playing and watching the game it's a good thing, I just find it all a bit of a joke.

I agree to a certain extent, for me Test Cricket will always be the best (if not the most commercially lucrative) form of cricket.
 
Aye but some people will not have the attention span to want to watch a game for 5 days that can still end up a draw. At least 20/20 is a entertaining game that will get kids interested.
