Apparently loads of re-scripting and re-shoots for this film!
Never a good sign even if that trailer is more interesting than SW7!

Its been a rumour for some time that he makes an appearance, weather he mentioned that or not I don't know, but if he did it must mean its a confirmed spoiler.
I think the first trailer ends with a quiet breath from his breathing apparatus.
Maybe he said something else though.
I think the film is going to be brilliant though with or without him in it.

A quick question for all you Star Wars afficionados out there (and there are many!); just how many more films is George Lucas planning to make/release? What's this now; number 8? The first three were entertaining fayre, but that was when I was younger, slimmer, had a hairier head, and was less handsome as I am now. I've never got into all these sequels/prequels.

So, further digging reveals that the director, Gareth Edwards and Disney are butting heads over the tonal direction of 'R1'.
Edwards, known for his dark directing, wanted to make 'R1' a 'war movie'. I think that's what this franchise needs, as it feeds into our 'unseen' battle thoughts of what must go on with the galactic tussle.
Disney want to lighten it to a 'heist/ rom com' affair set in the traditions carried on by JJ Abrams.
