A lot of folk seem to have a problem with the claymore-style lightsaber (which does seem a bit daft).

Nice to see modern footage of X-wings and the Falcon looks pretty sweet.

I think it's clever. Stops someone coming down the "blade" and cutting your hand off which seems to happen with surprising regularity in the Star Wars Universe.

That booming Millennium Falcon dodging TIE fighters with the proper John Williams Star Wars theme is fucking awesome. In fact I'd have been happy with that trailer if they skipped the first minute entirely. It's everything that Star Wars should be and everything the prequels weren't in that one single moment. I cannot fucking wait for this film, Abrams will knock this out of the park as the Yanks say

Also, the cross guard lightsaber is something already established in the Star Wars Universe:

So I've heard. Still seems a little daft, but then it's Star Wars so why not?

Doesn't seem daft to me, to be honest it seems pretty logical and if it has been established for 20 years already then people can hardly complain can they?
