That wasn't River, it was Chris Chambers.
Harry Nielsen. Died in the same flat as Jimi Hendrix.
Nilsson died of a heart attack, in the US. Probably drug related essentially, he loved a bit of nose candy. It was his flat in London in which a couple of other people died.

Murcia was 1972, Thunders 1991 and I actually got it wrong about Nolan, he died in 92 after a stroke brought on by bacterial meningitis

Especially Billy Murcia's death.... he died 2 days before supporting Roxy Music at the Hardrock in Stretford (the B&Q site) 5 mins walk from his house.... he got there to see NYD and someone introduced a different support act, explaining why NYD's were not there.3 events etched in Morrissey’s memory!
He mentioned this when playing the Move Festival at Lancs Cricket Ground, adding that he still had the ticket in a shoe box under his bed....

I’m sure years of drug abuse didn’t help, but it’s not what did him in.
He was in a couple of bands with my mate/old boss Steve Dior.
