Wow, that's a long way out. I live in Oxford and Amersham is probably as close to me as it is to Wembley. It is a nice part of the world though no denying that, that area in general.

Staying just down road in Northwood with 2 other Blues. My parents live there so 8am drive from Newcastle, quick shit and a shave (and a hello) at theirs then poss. on to Harrow, then Wembley !!

I know the area well having lived in Buckinghamshire for a few years. Amersham isnt too far,...and as ive already said, its on the metropolitan line (its the last stop) so no need to change trains....just get on at Amersham, and get off at Wemberly Park. You are correct to say its a lovley place. If I recall, Barbera Windsor from the carry on films owned a pub there. Im just hoping im not the only blue in town !!

Amersham is rag central mate. Watch out for the PKIB (posh kids in black).

Stayed here in 99 and had a great time,easy to get to wembley from as said. have a good time but going straight there by coach this time.
