Slightly off topic, can anyone recommend a pub in the Romiley area for tonights game? Is the Crown in Bredbury still where the OSC meet?

Am house sitting for a couple of weeks in Romiley and could do with a Blue pub to watch both tonight's and Saturday's games in.

It's a big stadium and apparently a sell-out, atmosphere will be tricky for the City players. Think I'm right in saying that Romania isn't filled with racist twats like the Russian fans at least so that's something we don't need to worry about.

I believe every country has it's share of racist assholes :)
Also, I believe romanian fans can appreciate good football. In 2007, Lyon beat us pretty bad, if I remember correctly. At 3-0 or so for Lyon, Steaua's fans applauded after Lyon scored. But don't expect it to happen everytime :)

Yeah, City should probably win. I'm a little afraid City is gonna score at least 3 goals.

Nita is an ok goalkeeper, but nothing special, Tatarusanu (now at Fiorentina) is better. I don't remember Nita making big mistakes, but he also doesn't make spectacular saves.
I think you know Tamas, he is basically our best defender. Enache is good in attack, but lacks some defending skills. He was initially a winger, but Steaua plays him as a right back. Tosca is pretty good by our standards. I'm not a big fan of Momcilovic. Muniru, again, not a fan, he is fairly decent (trivia: he is Muntari's brother). Achim is new at Steaua, I can't say much about him. Popa (short and fast, fights for every ball, very good stamina), Stanciu (nr 10, good technique, he is in good form, scores great goals, starting to show some playmaker skills, think of a smaller version of Coutinho), Hamroun (don't know how to describe him. Nice passing, good tehnique and vision, Boateng wannabe) are our best attacking players. Golubovic is also new, but I don't expect him to do too much, he isn't really renowned for his goalscoring abilities.

We are at best at FC Basel's level. Reghecampf, our manager, played many years in Germany. So his style of coaching has many german elements. He is one of Romania's top manager (top 3 at least).
