One way or another she's been the face of City Women for a decade. A symbol of her sport's progression and increasing legitimacy in that time. A real trailblazer. When the profile of women's football has gone leaps and bounds in the decades to come they'll look back at people like Steph who laid the foundations of the professional game. Good to have Steph officially back with the club.

Her autobiography has just been released and she was doing a signing at Waterstones Deansgate on Monday & at the City Store before yesterday's match.

I just knew City would find her a job within the Club once she retired from playing and to become the Clubs first womens Ambassador is a great honour.
She really does love this Club.

Great news. It would have been nice for her to have gone out with some real highs at the end of her playing career but it wasn't to be (still don't get the way Wiegman handled things) but hopefully her, so far, very successful transition to a post player life is making up for that.

I hope the project officer role means she's being trained/groomed for a longer term role with the club/group as she's always struck me as a great asset for the club.
