Yes, being a full time coach would be a major burden on her time, and his illness is not going to improve, just get worse.I think that's potentially why she's taken on a more ambassadorial role for now.

Agree currently, but I said ‘future’? Her husband is sadly going to need her every attention for now.I would think she currently has far too much on her plate with her partner's illness.
And probably increasing attention going forward, she knows this, and it's why she'll have taken (been offered) this role.Agree currently, but I said ‘future’? Her husband is sadly going to need her every attention for now.
Future Women’s team manager?
Good call. She's not just a good footballer, with nothing to prove. She's articulate, and she's got good analytical skills. Above all, she has a natural authority, both on the field and, apparently, in the changing room. You've only got to listen to the way Alex Greenwood speaks about her.
But that will be one for the future, maybe the distant future. I confess I was unaware that her husband was so very ill.
Can’t see that happening any time soon, with her personal life being dominated by her husband's illness. But I'd imagine it would be a popular appointment. Maybe with Izzy on her coaching team?Future Women’s team manager?
Hopefully at some time in the future, as you say would be a welcome appointment indeed. Not sure of the present condition of her husband Stephen. Can’t see that happening any time soon, with her personal life being dominated by her husband's illness.
