Nah we could pretty easily play De Jong and Barry in the middle, we'd still have 4 quality attacking players plus Barry who supports attacks as well.

Yeah, said the same thing earlier mate. This isn't getting on the lads back, but its obvious he hasn't been playing to his max the last two games. We need Ireland at his best for the whole season. He should definitely sit out the Fulham game and hopefully he'll be fully fit and raring to go against West Ham if not then give him longer, he's a key player for us.

He wasn't too bad in the first half , but nowhere near his peak ........ and second half he didn't figure whatsoever , or might as well have not done ...... not that he was on his own in that second period , we just stopped playing football for the best part of it!

Love the guy to bits but just maybe he overdid the training in the summer. There's a reason a lot of footballers take a complete break, it's to recharge the batteries. Possibly the martial arts without the hill running would have been enough, or vice versa.

He'll be back to last season's form in a few weeks and maybe he could do with a short rest to clear up an injury if he is carrying one.

that's alright he hasn't been very creative this season, 90th minute @ Blackburn aside.
