stephen jordan v maldini

Bit of a shit thread. Wasn't Jordan a boyhood blue. I fail to see why anyone would mock someone who came through the Academy to play for City, more than anyone on here has done I bet! He may not have been top flight standard, but I seem to remember him doing a great job on Ronaldo in a 0-0 derby draw at Old Trafford.

We have had hundreds of players far worse than Stephen Jordan.

Name them.

i use to work with ste jordans dad frank at securicor in warrington everyday we use to talk football whilst unloading trailers. he often spoke about his lad ste he" said keep and eye on my lad he plays in citys youth team" he was fourteen or 15 at the time and was making good progress getting reserve games and getting rave reviews. Then one day i came in work and everyone was talking of the tragic news frank had died of heart attack. We were all gutted such a brilliant likeable person who was so proud of his son.ste is from birchwood and is a good footballer and top bloke he can say one thing that he has played for manchester city and how many of us can say that.?

A great post Mr F.

I also worked at that place and before being Manager on the opposite Shift I used to work in the Transport Office and started shifts early for Overtime and I too knew Frank well.

and despite having a bit of bias to the local kid, I still think Stephen was a pretty decent player and we have had hundreds worse.
