You will see my posts throughout this thread. I think he is the academy's leading prospect and I imagine he will be integrated into the first-team squad this season. He is a huge talent, IMO, and I believe that he will feature, in a small way, in cup competitions this year.

Sometimes, somebody is just too good to leave out. If he is not integrated, the vultures will circle.

Might be exactly what the club want, but he looks like Yaya Stones on the clips, which isn’t the worst combo I’ve ever heard of!!!

With the talent we have, and have on loan, it might be hard to break through, but if the lad allows himself the time at City, he could be a massive squad presence for over a decade.

Think your right on all fronts. The vultures have been circling for some time, I’m told both Chelsea and United made very strong advances previously. He looks most likely to have a meaningful input

Yes, but they are all teenagers. There will be a time when a back four from a group including Mfuni, Bah, Khusanov, Reis, Gvardiol, and Lewis and O'Reilly is very conceivable. More likely, the latter-two shift into midfield. It will be hard, I think, for a player like Dias to resist their quality in three years time, and Stones and Ake will be gone.

If he's considered as highly by City as you guys who watch him every week and I have no reason to doubt it, I assume he'll be integrated to the team when Ake's contract expires in two seasons. 19 years by then, already training with first team and likely having had a taste of first team football already, sounds to me like the perfect timing for him. Yes. I think we will see the odd cup appearance this season.
Next, I suspect he will be part of the main squad and begin to pick up PL minutes.
If he reaches his potential, I have no doubt he could have a very long, distinguished career at the top-level.

Well, your prediction came true sooner than you thought with him being on the bench for the derby. The lad must have been very happy to be involved in such a big game. The academy had 2 starters in Foden and O'Reilly, Bobb coming off the bench and Trafford, Lewis, Mukasa and Mfuni as unused substitutes. That's a very impressive 35% of the first team squad that was chosen for the day. Injuries obviously had some say in those choices but it's definitely a good advert for our academy. Not one mention of it in the media that I can recall. The future is definitely looking brighter with each passing season.

His talent is too obvious, making the bench was Peps way to say you will be one of the next ones.
