How do I get slaughted then exactly, you lot spout a load of ill informed bollocks about Spurs and I refute that with cold hard facts, my arguments are backed with facts Spurs are easily a more successful club than City, check the trophy count City 9 Spurs 17 close there then LOL, Spurs have a much higher all time average attendance, only Manchester United and Liverpool are higher than Tottenham.

Tottenham generate much more money as a club than City do, and have miles higher merchandise sales, without your owners you would be piss poor and in loads of debt as you were for many years previously due to Keegan and his spending spree that worked well didn't it.

Your mate can laugh all he wants pal, Manchester City = 34 years of being a no mark Yo Yo club with zero zilch no trophies, and your laughing are you OK.

All of that money and Spurs still easily kicked your arses 3 -0 as we normally do, then we have the 11 wins for Spurs out of the last 12 games between the clubs, how embarrassing is that ffs.

Premiership record, Manchester City 3 wins Tottenham Hotspur 20 wins LOL and 6 draws, it's no wonder you are so bitter and twised about all things Tottenham, PMSL.

It looks like Spurs could be heading for another couple of Wembley trips this year then boys, that will add to the FOUR previous Wembley appearances that Spurs have made in the last Two years alone, do you lot even know where Wembley is LOL.

Meanwhile Manchester City can look back on 34 long barren years of complete and utter dross, and counting.

Carry on laughing though wont you lads.

Nobody is disputing you have a decent history, especially compared to city who have unfortunately been badly manged from top to bottom for years.

Yes you do currently generate more income but for how long?

34 and we're still here average 30,000 gates whilst in the 3rd tier of english football.

Attendances: can you prove to me or show me evidence that on "average" you have/had better attendances than us?
Considering we dropped down the leagues!!

city Record Attendance At Maine Road: 84,569 v Stoke City, FA Cup 6th Round, March 3rd 1934
spurs Record attendance: 75,038 v Sunderland, FA Cup, 5 March 1938

You did beat us 3-0 but thats a one of game and tbh city were shite that night, i'm more than confident we'll return the favour!

Spurs have beaten Manchester City 11 times out of the last 12 games mate, what part cant you quite grasp, Spurs are still currently in 4th position in the Premiership, Spurs are on the verge of yet another Wembley appearance, what parts cant you grasp !!!

All time average attendances (Figures taken from Official club sources)

Wow i have just given you some credit and yet again the MASSIVE spurs attitude comes out!

Yes you've a decent record against us, so fcuking what? thats nice little table are you taking into account the years city wern't in the same league as spuds?

If we took a table from the last 8 years you'd find spuds are way below city by an average of around 7k

If you fcukers were to nose dive to the 3rd tier of english football you'd get 15,000 imo!

You can spout as much bitter drivel as you like pal, the reason that Manchester City have been going up and down the leagues more times than a whores drawers is because they have been shit for much of their history.

As for your crap about Tottenham's attendances dropping to 15,000 or so if we were relegated LOL, you are talking absolute rubbish based on nothing more than "wishful thinking" in 1977 the last time that Tottenham were relegated our attendances actually went up by about 3,500 to 33,500 or so at a time when attendances were dropping rapidly due to the violence in football at that time, so you are completely wrong on that point.

STILL no reply from the deluded, bitter Spuds fan aka EssexYid.

Third time lucky?

I won't hold my breath.

How about trophies then, only Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa have won more silverware than Tottenham Hotspur, so Spurs are the 5th most successful club, does that mean f**k all as well then.

Manchester United have just scored, ROONEY get in !!!

As per usual all of your opinions are based on nothing other than "wishful thinking" and nothing more.

I can and do back up my points with FACTS, so what you are saying is because Manchester City have been so shit in the past that they have been in the third tier of English football, this has affected your attendances, and they would have been better if you were higher and had attracted more "glory hunters". LOL

Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are the only clubs that have never averaged less than 20,000 a season in their entire history, Manchester City have averaged a lot lower than 20,000 per season on many occasions, are you getting the hang of this now.

I wont argue with you on that, City might well have a fantastic future ahead of them, and if not it will be a major opportunity missed, with Manchester City's massive financial resources anything less would be a major failure to be honest about it.

Common sense would tell every single Tottenham Hotspur fan that Real Madrid are a much much bigger club than Spurs are or ever will be, fact is that most players in the vast majority of teams will dream about playing for the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona etc, so what was the point of the thread then, or do you think that the vast majority of Manchester City players would think differently to Palacios, because I can assure you that they wouldn't.

Notts County were the first visitors to 'the Lane' in a friendly watched by 5,000 people and bringing in £115 in receipts, Spurs won 4-1. QPR became the first competitive visitors to the ground and 11,000 people saw them lose 1-0 to Tottenham.

Cold hard facts don't you just love them :)

this is bluemoon forum where city fans and fans of other clubs, debate different issues, this being one of them but if you look around there is plenty of other threads on different subjects not just football, its all about opinions just like this thread, people are intitled to give their opinion, but if you dont agree go to a spurs forum...

Nice attempt at squirming out of your previous cock-up.

Thing is, it's relatively easy to look back on your posts as you weakly attempt to blind us with 'facts' and grow more irate at posters by the minute, completely ignoring the thread subject matter in a feeble attempt to deflect away from what Palacios has said.

So, let's review the evidence...

Palacios is QUOTED (yes, quoted) as saying:
''....I will continue working for a future move to a bigger club.......''

YOU respond by stating:
Still as bitter and twisted as ever on here then, firstly the article was in "The Sun" and there were no quotes were there

I state that quotation marks were used, so there WERE quotes, which contradicts your statement that there were NO quotes. With me so far? It's not rocket science, is it?

YOU also try to equate what Palacios has CLEARLY said with a RUMOUR about Barca wanting Fabregas:
'Cesc Fabregas makes no secret of his desire to move to Barcelona'
This, despite a number of denials by Fabregas over the past year or so. YES, he MAY want to go there, but you show me a quote like the one PALACIOS has made, where he says:
''....I will continue working for a future move to a bigger club.......''
Oh, but Fabregas hasn't said that at all, has he? Unlike your Mr. Palacios.

YOU then proceed to have 'arguments' with various posters on here, completely IGNORING the subject matter of the thread and coming out with dross such as:
'...you lot spout a load of ill informed bollocks about Spurs and I refute that with cold hard facts, my arguments are backed with facts...'

You argue about attendances, you cry about merchandise sales and the debt we would have IF we didn't have our Owners (that bit truly made me burst out laughing - bit like saying...if I didn't have a car, I couldn't drive it!) etc etc.

You drone on about matches between us and the 34 years thing etc etc.

You hurl abuse left, right and centre at us but claim you are not obsessed or interested in us:
'....You can spout as much bitter drivel as you like pal, the reason that Manchester City have been going up and down the leagues more times than a whores drawers is because they have been shit for much of their history....'

I could go on and on providing examples from your sad little rants but the point is (I feel I have to repeat it, as you are a bit slow on the uptake it would appear, judging from the fact that it took me three attempts to even elicit a reply from you earlier), this thread is about PALACIOS and his using Tottingham Hot Spurs as a STEPPING stone to move to a BIGGER club.

That's something else you have conveniently ignored. He says he likes Real Madrid but he does NOT exclude OTHER big clubs.

So stop your little whining act and man up.

Admit the truth, however difficult it is for you to swallow. If you can't stick to addressing the subject of the thread without going off on a tangent and blurbing your way through your bitter hatred of City, because you are FULLY aware that our time is coming, then please, please, get the fook off our forum.

I rest my case.
