How can you overlook serge being a greedy bastard and missing a few glitches edged chances today. I get it he can be overlooked because his surname ain't sterling.Odd post.

If he keeps on producing isn't it more evidence that he should get rewarded? Seems an odd argument - player wants parity with top players, performs as top player, internet forum not sure he should get paid as top playerThis thread is just going to be a constant stream of "pay him what he wants" everytime he scores this season now isn't it? The club will offer what they think he's worth.

This is my argument. Think of players who would replace Sterling's goal/assist return and cost less than £100m. Not easy is itThat kind of sentence only works one way ?
Or will the he missed a sitter brigade not post after the game saying this is why he won't get top money etc, it will go round and round until he either signs or goes.
We will, however, have to pay 50-90m to replace him and then pay that person 350k a week.
So imo it seems a bit strange, we have a player that knows the system, has just banged in over 20 goals from the wings, had numerous assists, works up and down his side all game, never seems to sulk or cause any bother, despite what the papers try to report.
With the added advantage of him likely to get better in the foreseeable future.
What is not to like about Raheem ?
My guess is that we have a finely balanced wage structure and we don't want to disrupt it.If he keeps on producing isn't it more evidence that he should get rewarded?
