Sterling’s contract - three year extension confirmed

All that matters is pts at the end of the season,we would have been nowhere near 100 without his late goals, everyone misses, everyone and he is not a striker, really let the misses go as we do for everyone else,i don't know why he has to have it held against him like no-one else does

Love these kind of things how we say how many points he got us but doesn’t work the other way. He did cost us against United and Burnley to name but two in games dropped where his howlers done us over. Let’s move the goal posts though. Again. The sterling fan club will say pay him whatever, yet laugh when Rooney and co take the rags to the cleaners. If he can’t agree and soon bin him off, we have plenty of other players who can miss golden chances.

I’d be pretty gutted if Sterling left tbh. It’d be the first player that we’ve lost at their peak since Shaun Wright-Phillips, I think. Not that we could complain I guess, having got him from Liverpool in similar circumstances (and Liverpool from QPR prior to that). His agent obviously has a modus operandi, it would seem.

Still hopeful he’ll sign a new deal but if not then so be it. He’s played his part in our recent successes, and no one is irreplaceable.

Henderson in, Raheem out?

Look at it from his side... If we were to sell him we would get around 100m for him.

So how much does a 100m player get paid on average??

More than 180 per week I think..
Your logic is severely flawed. If we sell him it will because he wants out. No way would we get £100m for him. Secondly, why do you assume a replacement would have to cost that ?

Would give him the contract to be honest we will have to replace aguero, merlin, fernandinho, bravo and kompany in the not too distant future if we can avoid having to replace sterling we should.

Yes I think that is how his agent views it as well.
