Sterling or yaya against madrid?

We're all entitled to our opinion mate. Yaya hasn't got the legs to last for 90 mins, and certainly would not cover the amount of ground Delph would, start him on the bench. Sterling - well he's disappointed this season and i'd start him on the bench.
Did you actually watch his performance yesterday ?...... Ged Brannan would have been proud of Delph's ineptitude. Give me a half fit Yaya over that waste of space.

We don't seem to be discussing which system to use in order to get the best from the players who may be available. Just whether DeBruyne or Yaya should be the ones to play out of position in order to fit into the same ol system or whether out of form Sterling should play in order to balance out the same ol system, whilst Yaya sits on the bench.

Of course if Silva was available he could play out of position in place of Sterling but unfortunately (fortunately?) he's unavailable.

Unless Sterling shows drastic improvement in the next few days (which I hope he would), I would rather play KDB out of position together with Yaya than Sterling, who probably would not be able to offer us balance judging from yesterday's performance.

I would just play 5 in midfield with KDB & Yaya freedom to break forward, then the problem is solved.

We wont have the ball for long spells. Every player has to be able to close their opponent down, and do the basics.

I would not start Toure as I don't think he can close players down. I wouldn't start Sterling because his confidence in front of goal has gone.

I'd play 5 in midfield and have two holding midfielders: Kompany and Fernando with Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Navas getting forward to support Aguero whenever we get the ball. Tackle everything that moves and as the game opens up Yaya and Sterling could come on

You'd pick Les Chapman over Yaya.
