Sterling or yaya against madrid?

You remove most of KDB's effectiveness playing him left and expecting him to work back-which he is poor at. He must play behind Kun.Got to be Yaya in a 3 with the 2 Ferns, Navas and KDB outside them, Serge up top.
Sterling as an impact sub who I hope is charged with creating rather than scoring a goal as a donkeys arse would be safe as houses around Raheem and a banjo.

The advantage of starting Sterling over Yaya is it allows KDB to play centrally, where he excels. Unless we put Fernandinho on the left and keep KDB in the middle. It depends on what type of game we want to play. Sit back and counter attack, play Sterling. Try to go toe to toe and keep hold of the ball, play Yaya.

Fair point, but I cant see Manuel doing it. That would mean Sterling getting the nod over Yaya unless he drops one of the Ferns for the big man and I would be amazed if he did that. Going to be interesting to see what he comes up with.

Completely agree about working back down the wings though or else they'll kill us, Navas will be a guaranteed starter for this reason alone I would think.
Even if we play Toure, we don't need to go toe to toe with them. He can still play in a conservative setup as Sevilla away proved as his telling balls are usually springboard to our counterattacks. We're going to be playing on the counter, most likely, so you've gotta go with Sterling. He offers more cover defensively and a quicker break. Bring Yaya on if we need to get a goal later on.
