Sterling

He was starting his decline when he left us, there is no way he is capable of performing for us now.
Unfortunately true. He's a long, long way from the player he was in 2016-21. There's a reason why he's getting fuck all game time at Arsenal. Yes; it'd be very hard, if not impossible, to force your way into that team. But even when Arteta rotates, I don't recall him getting too many starts.

There is one other reason he doesn’t get game time at arsenal!

He also plays for Chelsea …

My bad. I could have swore he was at loan at Arsenal. Just looked it up; he was, but returned to Chelsea, which I'd totally missed. I need to speak to my parole officer about getting out more.
Easy mistake to make. He didn’t play much for them either

I'd have him back, purely for the fact that we can all start writing FFS again in the post match threads.
(I know it was Mahrez originally, but he didn't half give us some of them FFS moments)

If you're going down that route, I'm all for bringing Lee Bradbury back. Or Wilfried Bony. Two ultimate FFS merchants!

Sadly we had the chance of Sane and that passed. Sterling never hit Sane levels. Prime-Sterling would be great. A mature version who uses his brain, possibly so. A player who hasn't trained in a group on big bucks would be far too big risk. Sorry, I bumped the thread because I'd overheard and even thought prime Sterling would be ideal to add dimension. Also knew many aren't too keen. Should have suggested Mahrez!
