I'd like to know how many minutes Jovetic and Aguero have had on the pitch together for people to call it that they won't make a good partnership
As far as I can tell, they've played a total of 37 minutes together all season (against Watford), during which time Aguero scored 3, City scored 4, and we turned a 0-2 deficit into a 4-2 win.

If you extrapolate that over a full Premier League season of 38 games, the Jovetic/Aguero partnership will yield 386 goals for City (a new record) and 290 of those would be scored by Aguero (don't have the Prem individual scoring records to hand, but I'd guess that would also be a record). The other 96 would be scored by Kolarov, so we should definitely keep him.

Admittedly, they played together against Watford, so you can perhaps lower the numbers a bit for Prem opposition, but I think it's safe to say that playing Jovetic and Aguero together in every game should produce at least 200 goals for the team and 100-150 goals for Sergio. On the minus side, the other strikers might not be happy scoring no goals all season.

Nice sales pitch! If only it could come true.

Obviously they'd get better if they played together more often.

I would be expecting at least 500! Anything less and I'm supporting Chelsea

Thank you very much for that! Made me smile! :)

If you're an intelligent footballer, you can always create space for you and your strike partner.

I don't know whether Kun and JoJo will work but will obviously hope it does.

However, just because you have two talented intelligent players doesn't mean it will automatically work.

Look at Gerrard and Lampard for England. Arguably, the two most talented midfielders England has had in modern times but rubbish as a pair.
