Navas will definitely start barring injury. I'm sure Pellegrini will line us up
like this.

Hart
-
Zabaleta
Kompany
Nastasic
Clichy

-
Navas
Fernandinho
Y. Toure
Silva
Jovetic

-
Aguero

Subs: Pantilimon, Richards, Lescott, Milner, Rodwell, Negredo, Nasri

delighted with this deal
Agreed. I've wanted us to buy someone up front in the vein of Jovetic for a while (young and potentially a world star.) Not disrespecting our other players at all. Most of them tend to be rather established beforehand.

people need to realize as well he is our other choice after losing out on Isco..we could not have got better than jovetic for the money imho.
I understand. By "up front" I mean "not a defensive midfielder or CB" more than anything else.

fucking hell, that will win the lot.

Navas won't start, at least not at the start of the season. It will likely be

4-3-3

Zabba komps Nast clichy
Fer yaya Milner
Silva aguero jove

How could you possibly know that? He'll more than likely start against Newcastle.

He doesn't know.

We'd all be guessing at the moment.

I'm expecting plenty of rotation as the season progresses.

Obviously I know he doesn't know it was figure of speech.

If anyone thinks its downward for yaya you must be looking at the wrong player, yaya will be played more forward with more vigour no acn this year.

Trust me I hope the same, but reaity probably will tell a different story.
I don't know if someone notice a small detail in one of the training videos on OS. YaYa doing bench press, see the way how he handle it and compare it with other players. I have big doubt about his commitment also.

Have you ever heard of RAMADAN?

Hart

Zab - Kompany - Nastasic - Clichy

Fernandinho - Yaya Toure
David Silva

Navas - Aguero - Jovetic

That's my guess for what we'll go with vs Newcastle.

And to keep this thread on topic, I believe Jovetic will be a brilliant signing, can't wait to see him in blue!

I see this as more likely fo a 433
with Navas and Dzeko as a plan B

Zab - Kompany - Nastasic - Clichy

Fernandinho - Yaya Toure
David Silva

Aguero - Negredo - Jovetic

most soccer players who are muslim still eat during the day even when its ramadan.
there was a discussion about this some years back in the bayern munich forum about this regarding franck ribery. he said that he only fasts on training free days which most likely is also the case for yaya.

yaya has shit form bench pressing because he does not care. he may be crazy talented but seems lazy as fuck.

Yaya has said in earlier City interviews, as a footballer, he cant comply with Ramadan! He probably tries to fast a bit though!
