I've also noticed Suarez doesn't make players around him better. He gets his, but he tends not to work well with other forwards and attacking midfielders have to funnel everything through him. He can be brilliant on his day but he goes through long, wasteful periods, too.

So, have you watched him play or did you come to that conclusion from his scoring record? Keep in mind he hasn't always played as a striker, that he has qualities besides goal scoring, and and in the last two seasons his return is 27 goals in 58 games.

I think he tries to do everything himself but I think we have talent in midfield that Liverpool don't and he would have more options around him other than a very greedy Daniel Sturridge. I know he's a cock but I just can't help but want him.

Exactly stats alone mean very little Bergkamp was a young goal machine in Holland but not so in England, RVP never scored double figures in a season in Holland and only did it 4 times in 8 seasons at Arsenal. I have already pointed out the example of Tevez who was more prolific with us than any of his other teams in England.

So, have you watched him play or did you come to that conclusion from his scoring record? Keep in mind he hasn't always played as a striker, that he has qualities besides goal scoring, and and in the last two seasons his return is 27 goals in 58 games.

I'm not goin to lie like most on here and say iv followed him religiously but iv seen him a few times for his country and not been blown away . Also, stats and records are solid things to go by - they don't lie . If its a midfielder ect, you need to watch him play but if its a goal scorer, we need someone that scores goals . As for one season stats, bianchi banged loads in the season prior To us signing .we need proven consistent scorers .
