Mario gomez has signed for florentina from bayern munich so this deal is looking likely.
And Seville have bought a Negredo replacement, so that one is also looking likely ATM.

unless we are getting rid of dzeko cant see us signing negredo and jovetic.

Negredo, jovetic, guidetti, Aguero would be ideal, but a lot weaker than a few years ago
Maybe we know he's going to Dortmund next year so we already have his replacement lined up, who will already have gelled with the team for a year.

Just speculating.

Very odd that FIO, after a great season, is going to do so much renovating.

Gomez in.

Ljajic is almsot signed for Milan, and Jovetic almost signed for you.

Pinning a lot of hope of Gomez, Rossi and Ilicic (who is on his way in for Ljajic)

Mind you, that's still a phenomenal attack if firing on all cylinders.

As an avid watcher of Serie A, what do you make of Jovetic? What are his strengths and weaknesses, who would you compare him to etc?

He's fucking boss. His strengths are his dribbling, his movement, his vision, his link up. His weaknesses are perhaps his strength. I'd compare him to Van Rapis or Bergkamp. He could come here and get 20 goals and 10 assists or he could get 10 goals and 20 assists.

Di Marzio has just said it's not yet a done deal.
Probably lacking in a few millions, maybe 2 or 3. Unless City backs out now, I'm pretty positive this one's in the bag.

United gonna get snubbity SNUBBED. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.gianlucadimarzio.com/calciomercato/manchester-united-joins-city-in-the-jovetic-race/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.gianlucadimarzio.com/calciom ... etic-race/</a>

That's all well and good but does he track back?

Great buy.
Price might be a bit steep, but you're paying for potential - potential that he's shown, but not for extended periods.
Still very young tho, and has all the tools in the shed at his disposal. Strength is definitely where he lacks. But the kid can BALL

But any team getting him, better have a solid coach, because he needs that guidance to become great.

And yes, Ljajic is verrrrry close to Milan. Contract expires end of next year, and he wants a raise that FIO likely wont pay, and he wants to move upwards.

Prade (FIO's SD) and Galliani have been meeting for nearly a week now, and again this morning, and the transfer will likely be finalized when Robinho leaves for Santos.

A first touch to die for.

They have also signed Joaquin who is not a too bad replacement for Jovetic imo.

the few times I watched Malaga last season he actually stood out more than Isco for me
