Stevan Jovetic

He's Arsenal's number one target this summer.

I can see him going there rather than us, they seem a lot more interested.

Jovetic is more of a second striker (like Aguero) and I'd imagine we'd be more interested in a ruthless finisher, like Cavani or maybe Falcao.

How do you figure that? We tried to get him late in the summer window and couldn't pull it off but rumours say we acquired first option. And ever since we've been linked with him and rent-a-gob Angelo Gregucci bigs him up every time he's on Italian radio and says City are interested in him.

i haven't seen anything of him... what's he like compared to what we have?

Hes very much a second striker - can play in the hole..etc. He would be an improvement over Tevez plus he is fairly tall too - 6'1. Great dribbler, got a great shot on him and he can finish comfortably with both feet. He can play in various positions too.

Check him out on Youtube.
At a guess, I would think he is something like the kind of player Mancini would have wanted Johnson to develop into.

"City are the only team to have moved [for Jovetic]."

If Bobby stays , il be amazed if Jovetic isn't here this summer.

He could well be a 'club' target seeing as he would apparently be one of the best attainable options to ease into our proposed 433 method of play.

I don't think they will sell him to someone in Italy to be honest.

maybe so, but think vucinic has a lot of pulling power and the fact juve are getting better all the time.

They have Vucinic, Llorrente, Maybe sanchez or jovetic coming.

As well as the young centre half he failed to get the best out of.

Yes, just like he's failed to get the best out of Kompany, Lescott and Nastasic ! Why must every thread be turned into an anti Mancini thread?

Savic confirmed in his interview day or two ago that it was him who wanted to move to play regular football and I don't think his failure at City should be put on Mancini tbh.

Maybe in scouting department and price paid for him but Savic just happened to be at City in worst possible time and couldn't handle the pressure of that period. Nothing Mancini could do there.

Mercato365 and gazzetta dello sport reckon city are in" pole position",for this lad..dello sport are saying his agent is trying to sort things out with the "disputed" €30 buy out clause.
