Stevan Jovetic

I remember one match during that just utterly dire run we had where we couldn't put two passes together to save our lives. So Jovetic is subbed on.

Proceeded to give the ball away incredibly easily a couple of times. Took a shot from acres away from the goal and in the direction of Row Z. Camera immediately went to Pellers' expression. I remember thinking "that's it for him here."

I remember one good poster in the matchday thread saying "Get Jovetic off. And sell him." And that's more or less how it played out. Now we get his inevitable whining but to me he was always more or less a wage thief. (Dipper match and Bayern last year being the two times I think he did ever contribute anything of import.)

He offered very little in the two seasons he was at ours. Needed to be moved on. Good luck to the lad.

Was the most excited I was for a signing since Aguero, and can't question his record when pe played is actually decent, but with squad limitations that we have now, need someone more dependable. I wish him good luck, and now I've another reason to hope Inter win the scudetto

Stevan Jovetic explains why he is so happy to join Inter. “I had problems at Manchester City, but I wasn’t the only one.”

The Montenegro international forward signed a four-year contract, though technically it’s an 18-month loan with mandatory option to buy.

“I am very happy to become part of Inter and hope that this year we can get back to where we belong,” Jo-Jo told Mediaset Premium.

“I am here to win, we have a good team and we can do it. I spoke to Roberto Mancini and director Piero Ausilio, so they convinced me to come here. I am very happy with this choice.

I had a few problems at Manchester City, but I wasn’t the only one. In any case, I don’t want to talk about City. I wish them all the best.

“In Serie A Juventus remain our strongest rivals, but we hope to beat them.”

Matija Nastasić is my guess who he's talking about...
Dzeko and Kolarov his mates will be next i think, I said on here a while back after Nasty wasn't played even though he was fit something ain't right..

I will be watching his injury record now he's gone bet it wont be as bad the same with Nasty now he his no longer at our club..

He had a good game versus Liverpool at the start of last season, and Chelsea in the cup also stands out.

Dzeko next I hope.

He's allowed his say, he remained very respectful through just about all his time at the club, and it's nothing we don't already know.

I remember when we signed Negredo and Jovetic on the same day and I paid almost no attention to Negredo because I was so excited by Jovetic (plus I didn't know much about Negredo). Unfortunately it didn't turn out like I hoped mainly due to injuries, but I always had my suspicions that he wasn't playing even when he was fit, same with Nastasic. We don't know what happened behind the scenes and he did complain when he was left out of the champions league squad, so I'm not going to blame Pellegrini, but it seems when someone gets on the wrong side of Pellers, they're punished.

I have no problems with his comments but I don't think his situation will get any easier at Inter.

Maybe if he'd not had 'mystery' injuries similar to Nasty he would have had a better chance.

Wish him no ill luck but he managed to earn a fortune without doing a lot with us and won't be missed. Perhaps if he'd had a proper run it'd be different but we'll never know.
