What I don't get is the rest involved have pleaded guilty (including his friends) and yet Gerrard has pleaded not guilty thus wasting tax payers money on a full trial with a jury he should be made to pay the full trial costs if found guilty IMO yes I know what I said in my earlier post I am just saying incase he somehow gets off

I totally agree with this - I can't understand how he can plead not guilty when the whole world can see him clearly attack the guy but somehow he can - I can't see him going down for it though - look at all the things Joey got away with before he was actually made to serve time and Stevie G has no history of violence - quite the opposite - he's a model citizen.

Yes, and it was his row in the first place. He's nothing but a bully.

Refusing to face up to the consequences in court, when he could just quietly accept a fine that he could easily afford, just underlines his cowardice.
