I went to infant and junior school with Ste. Grew up around the corne and were friends when we were kids. His house backed onto Worthington park and we used to play football (I was shit and he was amazing), do bmx stunts, and climb trees a lot. As everyone has been saying he was a really nice guy and from a really nice family. Remember he was light years ahead of everyone else on a football pitch and him and his brother always had a football on them, his sister who I worked with for a while later in life was an amazing netball player too. Saw him last in the Sale hotel (when it was still called that) when City were playing. Really sad to hear this news, I am gutted he has gone so young. Condolences to his family, you couldn’t meet a more down to earth and friendly bunch, they will obviously be devestated but I hope it helps to know how much everyone thought of Ste.
