Even after a week with my girlfriend in Glasgow I find myself saying 'wee' instead of little and so on...
So after a few weeks/even months in Holland he has developed a strong Dutch accent. Even to the point where he is missing words out of a sentence that you simply wouldn't do if you were English.

he hasnt got an accent,how can you get a dutch or german accent if you speak english, like others say he is simply missing english words out, the mans a clown,has he no mates who can tell him just how bad he sounds, you would have thought he would have learned the first time with the dutch inteview but to do it agin what a plonker

I am going to sort of stick up for him here.
My brother has a Swedish mate and when he talks to him he does exactly the same thing (cringey accent and missing out words). Honestly ive been guilty of doing it on occasion aswell and it's because you've got it in your head that they won't understand you if your speaking an English dialect. Obviously they can and you make a complete tit out of yourself for trying to speak like they do, which is what McClaren has done in this instance.
Unfortunately for him, it's infront of a camera that will be seen by a couple of million people, most of them NOT DUTCH. I can see why he is doing it, I really can but when your infront of something broadcasting you to people from your native country, your going to get the piss taken out of you. Much like I did with my brother..
