Im not remotely interested in who Moyes signs especially if he signs dross like Taylor! Look at from another point of view, if Moyes thought Taylor was better than Lescott he would have snapped our hands off and Taylor would already be an Everton player. The only reason Moyes is interested in Taylor is because he is as good as Everton can attract!
Lescott is at least 4 times the player Taylor is so if Taylor goes for £8 million then we have a bargain with Lescott at around £20 million!

He would be pretty cheap as Newcastle couldn't afford to fuck us around like Moyes & co have, he scores just as much if not more than JL and I reckon he is a very good defender who always seems to give 100%. Why have we never considered him when the likes of Villa and Arsenal have allegedly made enquiries? It would also leave Moyes in the shit with an unhappy defender and no transfer money.
I would feel slightly harsh on JL for leading him on but I reckon if we paid £20M for him and Everton then go and spend £5M of that on Taylor I would feel robbed!

I feel ripped off already tbh. Ned is far better at defending than him just needs to pop a few in from corners, at the right end of course (touch wood) lol
I have long stated that Ned will be a great defender and was hoping this year was is big breakthrough chance.
