Stevie Wonder

I am off to go see this music legend as well and I am feeling a little nervous. I think BT may well have a few tears in his eyes later. I will have completed my list of legends seen tonight. Jackson, Prince, McCartney, Dylan and now Stevie.

Oh my fuckin' lord,

He didnt do part timer lover.

What was that all about its his greatest song.

Still an amazing gig i couldnt believe i was seeing him plus his band are some fantastic musicians no doubt.
Part Time Lover his best song? Give over ;) Although it does have superb backing vocals by the late, great Luther Vandross.

Two and a half hours was a long time for a man of that age. He also missed out Happy Birthday, Lately, For Once in my Life, Uptight (Everthing's Alright), You Are the Sunshine of my Life, Pastime Paradise, Boogie on Reggae Woman and He's Misstra Know it All but when you have had as many hits as him then I guess we can forgive him.

Highlights for me were Overjoyed which is my favourite and you can never not enjoy Living for the City even though he only did the single version rather than the magnificent album version.

I have always disliked Ribbon in the Sky and he dragged it out for something like fifteen minutes, much to my annoyance :(

Top, top night and worth every penny. I was in the same building as one of the earth's finest human beings and it was an honour.

Overjoyed is one of his best for me too.wished he would have done mistra know it all and lately but with as good a back catalogue as stevie's some favourites will always have to be missed out. the 2nd half of the show when about 5 or 6 all time classics were done one after the other will live long on the memory.unbelievable.
still has a fine voice after all these years too.

Superstitious for me though was the highlight.

Superstition, Sir Duke and I wish all together was just rocking!

When he walked out I was shaking like crazy as I couldn't believe it even though I knew he'd be there.

i had a moment mid way thru the gig, when i just took time out and thought to myself 'take this in right now on who is actually on stage in front of you!'.
i don't do that too often.
