Stick together

Can't decide which I hate more - what's going on, on the pitch or us tearing into each other on here.

The footy world/media are just waitin for us to fall on our faces and laugh at us. Then they get the added bonus of watching us rip the club apart from within and can't believe their luck - this is what will make us a true laughing stock. Somehow we need to 'man up' (quote Ric), get together and tell the vultures to do one. It's our club, we'll get there in the end - lets just have a bit of unity.

We're out of the FA Cup, so what's new?

The facts are that squad we have just isn't good enough. If we didn't have this much money I doubt there'd be this amount of hysteria. The money just raises expectations and magnifies how poor our players really are.

Nothing has changed and it will probs be a while b4 it does. We've only used the 'new' money on 2 players and neither played today.

I'm not saying their shouldn't be banter/disagreement etc but some of the stuff on here has been out of order.

My grandad used to say during the war, when the bullets were flying and the blood was spraying you found the true character of the people around you. What they were made of.

What are we made of? Seem to be a lot of screamers for not a lot of blood....

exactly, couldn't agree more.

Having players (Sturridge and Elano for a start) arguing with each other on the pitch to the point where they lose all interest in where the ball's gone, having players who seem to be playing to get the manager thrown out, having a manager who seems to have pretty much given up trying to manage certain players, this is all pretty much run of the mill stuff for us isn't it? I didn't like what happened today but so what, in a few months it'll seem funny. If our new owners get their way we'll be turned into the sort of club where we complain when we only win by three goals instead of four. I still support Hughes because he is still our manager. I have to admit I can't follow his thinking in terms of how he set the team up, how he changed things when SWP went off, but then I don't see what he sees in training and in the dressing room. I know this much, I won't blame Hughes for the inability of that side to keep possession of the ball today, to pass the ball better than they did, that should have been the difference between the two sides.

exactly!. Hughes has been saying non stop it takes time you dont become a top 4 team overnight. It's actually pretty sad that some members on here are at each others throats like this.
