I find it strange that people are going on that we have to win the league. The scum won nothing last year, they don't win something every year. FA cup and 2nd place would be a hugely successful season. Just because we have money it doesn't mean we will always win the league. We started very poorly and we certainly haven't played premier league winning football. But time will tell.

But failing to beat an average Ajax side on two occasions is jut not good enough, it was more about the manner of our performances rather than failing to qualify. I doubt anyone thinks we will/should win the league every year but to be 12 points behind at this stage of the season is disappointing with the quality of our squad especially when you get plenty of here saying how average United are meant to be.mekonmcfc said:I find it strange that people are going on that we have to win the league. Yes we've been well below average for the majority of the season, they've won games where they have come back from 2 down at half time. Individually I think we're miles better, but they have played as a unit and battled to wins.
