Stockport council

Teachers work 150 hours a week for buttons because they realise children are our future, it isn't a job to them it's a mission in human kindness, modern day saints the lot of em, bin men on the other hand are just mere mortals, they work, get paid and go home and if they can have a day off due to bad weather they will take it. So pretty much like the rest of us.

Imagine a school closing because of the weather, would never happen.

Another topic which demonstrates how right wing and thick this forum has become. Some of you positively wallow in your idiocy and wear it as a badge of honour.

A forum where it's perfectly acceptable to slag the lowest paid workers - in fact it's positively encouraged if said workers deliver public services, because they're all overpaid lazy cunts with gold-plated pensions - rather than attack those that have slashed, fragmented, atomised and privatised these services. Because it's far easier to slag off your binmen rather than ask why councils - particularly in the north, and particularly Labour councils - have had their budgets slashed by the Tories resulting in worse services.

If you're not happy with your local services, ask Cameron and Osborne why they think it's acceptable to cut council budgets in the North West by 50% since 2010.

To the OP - I thought you had more brains than most of the knee-jerk right wing fuckwits that dominate this forum these days. Obviously not.

I reckon this thread is a massive wind up, I live in Stockport and they came and got mine on Friday. Although they did leave a bag with dog shit in it behind so that's their Xmas tip gone....

Actually it did happen on Friday. Harrytown shut because teachers couldn't make it into school because they lived out the area and the snow made travelling into school either a no go or too risky.
