hers the thing, as i work in stockport we recently had a posters delivered asking us to support the club in the next 3 games to stop them goin bust..... now, do i go and help my local club on a friday night or do i turn round to them ( like i want to ) and ask them why they threw coins and pies at me when i was sat in the corporate section of the cheadle end when City played them...........

not so clever a thing to do was it !!!

I remember as a kid in the 70's going to watch County play City in a couple of friendlies. County were on the brink of closure and City to help them out and get some money through the till played these matches.
Fast forward to when Frank Clarke was in charge of us and we're on our arses. City were away at Crewe who were also struggling. Myself, my two brothers and a mate went to watch Stockport at home (sure it was New Years day) and at half time the PA guy at County was fucking creaming himself when announcing the half time scores "And in the relegation battle at Gresty Road, it's Crewe one Man City nil" The crowd of around six thousand cheered.
It fucking turned my stomach and I said to my younger brother about how these cnuts have short memories. He said, "most of this lot are rags who can't be bothered going to Old Trafford"

its never nice to see a local team go bust (-1). i for one will be going to support county.
im a big city fan, but im also a football fan, and if buyin a cheap ticket to watch a live football game will help out a local team, i'm there!
