The problem you'll have on here is that, after years of City fans viewing County as almost a second club and attending your games on a Friday night, County fans, in our darkest hours, treated our club and fans like shite. People won't forget that.

i was one of those city fans who used to go with my mates on a friday noght to Edgedly park .
then we had the period where the county fans decided we were their dreaded enemy.
then i despised them 2nd to the rags.
now i truely do feel sorry for you,dont want you going under.
sorry but i wont be going on any protest walk,but i would donate if i thought it would do any good..

believe me i know that some of your will be bitter about what happened, i totally understand and can agree we do have some mega tossers that support us that hold a grudge, at the end of the day i can't apologies for what our "so called" fans did that night ! i know how you all used to help us out in the "go go County" era my parents were secretaries for the supports club in the late 70's and 80's and could always count on yourselves for help unlike the manure down the road. i for one have a soft spot for City and always will have no matter what is said or done and i have my tin hat ready

what a bunch of arses some of you on this thread are. city and stockport are never going to be friends, laughing at relegation is what any football fan will do against their rivals. they are fans as well of us. be fair.

The way I see it is I supported County as a 2nd team and frequently used to go there on a Friday night.

When they were in the same division, beat us and were in the division above us they got cocky.

You're telling me that as a City fan you wouldn't wind up the rags if we ever became more succesful?

Good luck County - you're going to need it but all the best lads - Stockport town centre is sh!te though ;-)

I have mixed feelings abou County. I'm a Stockport boy and always attended County a couple of times a season.

Then as we (City) approached our darkest hour, we were playing Crewe at Gresty Road. I went to County with my brothers, it was either Boxing Day or New Years day. At half time the guy on the PA couldn't control himself that City were getting beat and was winding up the crowd into a frenzy about it.
I said to my brothers that I remembered when County were on their arses, applying for re election to the football league and I also said about the two friendly games that City played against County just to get people through the turnstiles to save them from administration.
That PA guy was an absolute disgrace and it's always stuck. I lost nearly all my respect for Stockport that day.
