Great team performance to a man. Silva superb, Sterling was great and some really intelligent play from Gabby.

As for the match, I remember reading a little while back on here someone describe this team as “systematically good”, and I think it’s spot on. There’s moments of individual brilliance sure, but it’s largely a well drilled team that moves in a consistent way to continually find space. It’s done on the training ground. It’s relatively predictable at times (though not easy to stop), but also probably means the potential for longevity as a good side is higher."

Good performance lads, should have been 4 or 5. Been mentioned loads but love the way we hunt and win the ball back.

Silva masterclass performance MOTM. Jesus had a good game and that 90 mins will help him in his return to form. Ota and Vinny imperious and and overall convincing win.

That got a thumbs up & applause from their manager & coach, like 'yep, that's what we have been talking about, long ball, take Kompany out, Walker lobs the keeper'.

Clever fucking gameplan if they were working towards that one. Pep would have no chance engineering that.
