Stoke Away - Sold Out

aaaarrrgggghhhh my closest game too,

what a pisser,

fucking hate stoke aswell for that day when we got relegated!

I rang last night and was told they were sold out. I was told to ring in the morning and try again - he was surprised as I was.

I rang first thing this morning and was told by someone in the ticket office that he couldn't sell me a ticket but he knew that we hadn't sold out as tickets were still "available", when I asked why he told me they were probably "reserved for supporters' clubs and/or hospitality".

He was sound with me though and told me to ring customer services to find out why these tickets weren't viable for him to sell.

I rang customer services, explained the situation, was put on hold a few times but was eventually sold two tickets.

They were really kind in customer services, but I got the impression that I was being done a favour and that I shouldn't have been sold two of these tickets.

Can of worms maybe?

Would explain typical aways selling out at unexpectedly and unusually high points all season.

Totally forgot about it in the Monday morning rush at work, by the time I remembered at lunchtime they had all gone.
Fucking hell, I must be getting Alzheimers or something.
Aways are going to go quick now.
The message is, you snooze, you lose.

Quite surprised, thought I'd have no trouble buying tomorrow. Motivated me to find someone else to help me buy a Norwich ticket having already booked trains, definitely no chance of a ticket on my own card.

desperately need a ticket, pm me if any spares

cheers

-- Mon Mar 05, 2012 8:08 pm --

desperately need a ticket, pm me if any spares

reckon it'll sell out around the same, maybe take a bit longer. not been myself but what i've heard is that wolves is a shit away day

wolves is not bad away day, lucky to get stoke tickets, mate got them me as i was well busy, row 2 but what the hell.
i was row 1 last year, saw fuck all and froze mynipples off. row 8 this year, only 3 out of about 10 of us got tickets as well, bit gutted about that.
never been wolves so hopefully ill be able to get a ticket for that

Went to Wolves in the cup, in the home end, piece of piss to get a ticket if you ae stuck

We were down the side for the league cup but I think we might be behind the goal in the corner at Wolves for the Prem game, they've been doing that for most league games while they rebuild the other end. A lot may depend on whether they are still in a dogfight by then. If they're already safe or down, then we might get the bigger allocation.

they been giving big teams down the side, wigans ect behind the goal

Got ours luckily, I expect Wolves will sell out quicker than Stoke should we still be in top spot as it could be the decider going into the derby match, win at Wolves and beat the Rags and it could be ours..........., if we are still top going into the game............?!
