Who is going on the train?

And does anybody know approx how far the stadium is away from Stoke on Trent train station?

cheers

From internet football grounds site.........

Stoke City FC
Britannia Stadium
By Train

Stoke station is just under THREE MILES from the stadium and really is TOO FAR TO WALK , so it is probably best to hire a taxi. Tim Rigby a visiting Wolves fan adds 'there are some shuttle buses than run from Glebe Street in Stoke up to the Britannia Stadium, which depart every 15 minutes before kick off. There are return buses after the game back to Glebe Street from behind the Sentinel (East) Stand'.

Björn Sandström adds; 'To catch this bus, turn right from the station and head down Station Road. At the bottom of Station Road at the traffic lights by the Roebuck Hotel, turn right to go along Leek Road (A52). Then go straight across the A500 dual carriageway and into Glebe Street which is straight across in front of you. You should then see the line of buses that will take you to the stadium. It is only about a five minute walk from the station'.

The shuttle bus costs for a return ticket £3 Adults, £2 Children and £1.50 OAP's.

BE CAREFUL IN STOKE ........ THEY'RE A BAD LOT AND WILL BE LOOKING FOR CITY FANS OUTSIDE THE GROUND , AND PROBABLY ON THE WAY TO THE STATION TOO.

watch your back son if you intend making that walk
these lot are as bad as Ive seen bar millwall
seem to have a special hate of manchester, which wont have been helped by united smashing their seats up the other week

I will be walking to the ground from home as I live in Stoke.
The train station is a decent walk but may be too many nutters to negotiate over the route. Should imagine that the police
will have this well covered though.
Bus is an option but as the previous posters have already said make sure you are in numbers and no colours.
There is a massive car park at the ground but takes ages to get off according to a few mates who go regularly.
Try J15 off M6 head towards Trentham (Gardens) or Longton and look for a large trading estate opposite the rear entrance to the
ground. This gives a 20 min walk.
Hope this helps and see you there!
