I'd leave it no later than five mate.

It might take you an hour to get to the M6 turn-off. M6 is also narrow lanes for pretty much Knutsford, onwards. Might be worth doing A500 and coming in on the dual carriageway and following signs Trentham Gardens?

Junctions 16 and 17 can guarantee at least one accident a night.

Thanks pal. Yeah its a nightmare, had a look at route planner and might try just ploughing down the A34 avoding M6 altogether.

Thanks for the advice.

Funny feeling about this one....should be a comfortable win but, Stoke have drawn 4 out of 5? We have a mixed record at their place, and I just wonder if tonight might be one of those where we just dip a little, hence my gut feeling is a draw.
I cant remember how many funny feelings I have had this year that havent materialized.

M6 bollocksed today already, crashes, breakdowns. It is the Bermuda Triangle of the motorway system. Anyway let's hope for a city win and no pissing about.

This is from the Highways England Twitter feed

2 incidents on the #M6 southbound between J19 - J18 are causing severe delays of around 2 hours. A collision involving 3 trucks has closed 2 lanes and a broken down truck further along is blocking 1 lane.

I think this one will be a long grind of a match, playing against a back 10, even if we go in front I can't see them opening up. I really think we need to get any win of any sort prior to our upcoming long break

Can see this being similar to Newcastle away. Some poor results at their place over the years but this team is pro enough to crack it.
