Stoke post match thread

Stoke defended well, bit pointless considering they are pretty safe but still they are always going to be a tough team to break down. I think Sergio being isolated was the main problem tonight and without Sterlings creativity we were limited to Kev who had a poor game. Sane did well as always but he can't do it on his own.

The league is a tall ask now but it always has been because Chelsea aren't an attacking team, they are built to defend and not lose games. I can see them drawing a few yet but I can see us losing or drawing just as many.

2nd/3rd, a good european/fa cup run and I think that will make it a good start to Peps term here.
 
I'm yet to see a more useless sack of shit than Clichy. You can tell he's French by the speed in which he moves backwards.

I've never despised a player in the way I hate that prick.

I can accept a lack of talent in a player when they try hard. But that useless prick always takes the easy option. I've never seen a player pass backwards more than him. And it's embarrassing the way he is incapable of crossing the ball.

Pep needs to get rid of the shitbag immediately!

That's such a ridiculously unfair comment.

1. You don't think any team parks the bus against City? Just watch Boro at the weekend.
2. We had our most creative and dangerous players on, like Sane, KDB, Aguero and latterly Silva. They all were off.
3. That we can't handle parked buses is something that needs to be addressed in the transfer window, though I do feel Jesus would have made the difference today.
 
Stoke defended well, gotta give credit to them. Didn't help that we just cannot finish today.
 
Pep should think about his decisions.

Very obvious that this what not KDBs match, looked very tired and weak.

Stoke couldn't handle Sane, no idea why Pep didn't bring in Sterling.

For me Yaya stood out defensively and his runs. But a one man effort wasn't enough. A few players went missing and were marked easily.
 
I'll say this, De Bruyne was not very good for a big chunk of the game but he put two balls on an absolute plate that should have won the game there in the last few minutes. He can be quiet for awhile and then serve up a ball that is outrageously good. Not sure what happened with Sane on the last one but he had to get a touch on that.

Woeful from the team and manager tonight unfortunately. Subs were too late again for me. We seemed to forget how to pass the ball properly. Snatching at chances. Hopefully never see Navas in a blue shirt again, if there isn't a player available in the academy that is a better footballer than him then we might as well sack it off as he is useless.

Re-group and win on Sat now as the league is finished.
