Stoke post match

David Silva was top class. So was John Stones. Pleased with the win even though the passing let us down many times in the match. Zaba is past it, Sagna should start when he is fit. Nacho is class, hope Pep gets him to start matches for us. Also Nolito for Navas please. We looked much better when he came on.

First half was some amazing football, second half was shit after one of the softest penalties I've seen.
We dug in, kept fighting and got our rewards.
The 4th goal cost my brother his 3-1 bet, which he was surprisingly up beat about : )
We'd have lost that game last season, that'll be the big difference this season, hard work!

Stoke away in the wind second game banana skin . We won 4 1

Stones. Awesome.

Kolorov needs drug testing nobody improves that much.....apparently he trained with Leicester in the summer

Sky really do have an agenda. If this was the rags who won by this score line at Stoke they will call it the performance of champions. Souness is a right twat

Post match ,we weren't good just stoke were bad, fuck off sky

Just thinking the same thing. We scored 4 goals ffs!

At least Souness pointed out the 4 goals. Not too arsed what people say though.

3 points! Job done!

He is from Ireland so he is Rag cant stand his bullshit

Don't care where he's from and I don't expect him to be a sycophant but a modicum of respect would be nice. I see no reason why he should align himself with the Rags and have a go at us at every opportunity.

Quinn is such a twat, can we pretend we don't know him
Imagine the difference in analysis had the rags or Liverpool just beaten Stoke away 4-1. It's not even subtle, they don't want us ahead of either.

Trying not to be biased, I thought the first penalty was correct.
Joe Allen should have had a penalty.
The Sterling decision was silly.

Yes, the holding and tugging needs stopping, but Sterling did neither. Not sure why he'd put an arm out to Shawcross anyway, but a soft pen.

4-1 was a little flattering, but we were the better team and a win was the right result.

Second half we dropped off the intensity and conceded a lot more possession.

Sterling gaining confidence, and players look enthusiastic and willing.

The playing out from the back was very obvious today. I can only recall one instance (in the second half) when Willy held the ball and urged players to get upfield before kicking it. We'll get better and better at it, and confidence is a huge factor.

Well done City!
