I would like him to stay as a squad player.
But no he is not Laporte’s longterm partner I had hopes for. I think we all know that by know.

Yeah it's a shame because I think that's what we all wanted originally but it's pretty clear we're going to have to sign a top class CB to play alongside Laporte. Injuries and inconsistency have cost him.
