The next few games would have been a great chance for JS to move forward and demonstrate real leadership and resolve. If he is out for 5 weeks and takes another 2 or three to get up to speed we will be into November. This could not have come at a worse time for him personally and the club. Stones like Mendy HAS to be replaced. Both are injured all the time and in Stones case he isn't that great when he plays anyway. Mendy I have no idea how good he is because he too only ever spends a few minutes on a football pitch before he is injured as well. In our squad, which they are always part of, they are a waste of two places. It's time to move on.
