i would of let him walk for nothing to save the wage or say play with the kids for a year

and have him tell them how great it is to be at city and poisen the atmosphere around the youngsters, I would rather him fuck off to Brighton and we pay him ten grand a week less. I get the point that it will send a message to anybody who refuses to move on but Bridge decided a long time ago that if it was between cash and playing time, cash wins everytime, in short it would be pointless, so we might as well save as much cash as we can.
