is there any reason Stop the War don't protest when they're attacks in Paris, Cameroon, Iraq,USA, Britain, Nigeria or Tunisia?

Holier-than-thou types who fall over themselves trying to appear as the nicest, liberal, tree hugger. Who are against all violence, despite a murderous cult trying to kill them and everyone else on the planet.

Fucking idiots. They don't care about Civilians in the Middle East, they're just always looking to criticise our government and as long as it's not a stray British bomb which accidentally kills a civilian, then they're happy to bury their heads in the sand.

I was on the first march in 2003 to protest against the the unjust and illegal invasion of Iraq but now its turned into a myopic organisation, maybe if it was a protest movement against all war, violence and aggression it'd be a credible voice of reason.

I'm fine saying I'm against us bombing Syria, mostly because it's what Isis want and it won't get close to stopping them.

A major coalition of ground forces will be needed, or preferably support Iraq and Syria to do it themselves.

I think its highly desirable that an anti war protest movement exists in our country. But it needs to take a uniform stance on all conflicts, rather than being selective. It also needs to stick to that issue.

Go have a read of their website, you will see what they and their affiliates do.

When the barbarians are at the gates of Beswick, they'll wave their placards saying that they asked for the war to be stopped. And two seconds later their heads will be rolling across Asda carpark.
Very true, and the advertisement banner on the side of Asda, the last thing their rolling
eyes will see is, ''Kaffir untouched saltmarsh lamb, £4.50 per kilo.''
So even their veggie sensibilities get ground into the dust.

When it started it was a noble idea and we need a voice to oppose wars unfortunately cranks from the SWP have now too much influence at the top level. It needs to be disbanded and reassembled a broard co-operative with collective leadership who come from different ideologies, but have the common cause of anti war. Though it has been full of these cranks for a couple of year it's seems all too convenient that it's getting a slagging now Jeremys labour leader
